Uroboros Leather Journal – Large Size

I bound this antique-style journal by hand using hand-dyed, warm brown Italian leather. The symbols engraved on the central plates depict the Uroboros, an emblem of the eternal cycle of life, death, and rebirth.

I believe that through writing, we become the demiurges of our own lives, shaping our reality through words and giving our thoughts a form that can endure beyond the moment.

I bound this journal with high-quality leather and filled it with 95 gr light cream-colored blank paper, which is ideal not only for fountain pens (it doesn’t bleed through) but also for graphite and sketching. The pages are hand-sewn. I added gold decorations using 24K gold. 

For the endpapers, I used handmade marbled paper created by me, carefully selecting the best sheet specifically for this journal. I also marbled the journal edges, giving the volume a unique character.

All processes are done by hand, in accordance with tradition and respect for the environment. Although it takes a lot of time, this journal is bound with love and care, making each one a unique piece.

Please note that this journal is not a Moleskine that bends back on itself. This journal has a structure: it is sewn on five cords and has a rounded and hammered spine. Thanks to this traditional structure, it opens smoothly and is easy to write in. It is built to last and will protect your words for years to come.
