Hand sewn and hand bound The Silmarillion. I bound my book with quality hand dyed Italian leather. The book is sturdy to hand down to the next generations because the pages were hand sewn. I did blind tooling onto the leather plates. Title and author were gilded with 24K gold on the spine. I also added the antique style tooled leather bookmark for the harmony of the book. Marbled endpaper is unique because I made them one by one with my hands and selected the best one for the book. The edges are marbled. All processes are performed by hands without using any machine to respect tradition and environment. It takes a long time to bind a book but it allows me to put a piece of my soul into each book.
