I bound this antique-style journal in hand-dyed Italian leather, rich with warm brown tones.

On the cover, I engraved the words Nunc Stans, an antique Latin language phrase often used as “the eternal now.” Echoing early Christian reflections on time and eternity, including those of Saint Augustine, it speaks to a stillness beyond time — a quiet awareness of the present moment.

I chose this phrase because writing, for me, is a way of returning to the present.

I bound this journal with high-quality leather and filled it with 95 gr light cream-colored blank paper, which is ideal not only for fountain pens (it doesn’t bleed through) but also for sketching. The pages are hand-sewn. I added gold decorations using 24K gold leaf. The edges are decorated, and the marbled endpapers are unique, as I personally made and selected the one that best suited this journal.

All processes are done by hand, in accordance with tradition and respect for the environment. Although it takes time, this journal is bound with love and care, making each one a unique piece.

Please note that this journal is not a Moleskine that bends back on itself. This journal has a structure: it is sewn on five cords and has a rounded and hammered spine. Thanks to this traditional structure, it opens smoothly and is easy to write in. It is built to last and will protect your words for years to come.
