Hand sewn and hand bound 'The Hobbit'. I bound my book with high quality hand dyed Italian leather. The book is sturdy to hand down to the next generations because the pages were hand sewn. I did blind tooling decorations onto the book plates and spine. Title and author were gilded with 24K gold. I also added tooled leather bookmark for the overall harmony. As an endpaper I used handmade marbled paper which I made and selected the best one for the book. I also decorated the book edges with my hand.
All processes are performed by hands without using any machine to respect tradition and environment. It takes a long time to bind a book but it allows me to put a piece of my soul into each book.
