Monastic-Style Leather Journal – Medium Size

I bound this Monastic-style journal by hand using hand-dyed Italian leather, rich in warm brown tones.

The journal is filled with 95 gr light cream-colored blank paper, ideal not only for fountain pens (it doesn’t bleed through) but also for sketching. The pages are hand-sewn, and I decorated the boards and spine with blind tooling and added 24K gold tooling to the spine.

For the endpapers, I used handmade marbled paper created by me, carefully selecting the best sheet specifically for this journal. I also marbled the journal edges, giving the volume a unique character.

All processes are done by hand, in accordance with tradition and respect for the environment. Although it takes a lot of time, this journal is bound with love and care, making each one a unique piece.

Please note that this journal is not a Moleskine that bends back on itself. This journal has a structure: it is sewn on four cords and has a rounded and hammered spine. Thanks to this traditional structure, it opens smoothly and is easy to write in. It is built to last and will protect your words for years to come.
