Antique-style journal—landscape size—personalized journal

I bound this antique-style journal with hand-dyed, brownish Italian leather. The symbols engraved on the center plates are the Orphic eggs, the snake who wraps an egg, which signifies the source of the universe and creation, I believe the act of writing makes us the demiurge of our life. Therefore we create our reality. 

I bound this journal with high-quality leather and filled it with 95 gr light cream-colored blank paper, which is ideal not only for fountain pens (it doesn’t bleed through) but also for graphite and sketching. The pages are hand-sewn. I added gold decorations using 24K gold leaf. The edges are marbled, and the marbled endpapers are unique, as I personally made and selected the best one for this journal.

All processes are done by hand, in accordance with tradition and respect for the environment. Although it takes a lot of time, this journal is bound with love and care, making each one a unique piece.

Please note that this journal is not a Moleskine that bends back on itself. This journal has a structure: it is sewn on four cords and has a rounded and hammered back. This journal opens smoothly and is easy to write in. It is built to last and will protect your words for years to come.
