(Reserved for Jack)18th Century historical binding Naple style, made with Italian leather which I dyed and aged by hand. I gilded the spine and the center plates with 24 karat gold leaves, I also embossed the edges by hand. I made the end marble paper and added a leather bookmark. My intention is to bring alive the art of old binding and tradition which belong to my heritage as Italian to interact with the future writer.

You're welcome to personalize the journal with engraved title or initials on the spine.

All processes are done by hand, in accordance with tradition and respect for the environment. Although it takes a lot of time, this journal is bound with love and care, making each one a unique piece.

Such a pleasure

It is always such a pleasure to receive one of these journals in the mail. They are beautifully wrapped, of course, with a hand-written thank you note, but holding one of these in your hands is a spiritual experience. The binding is exquisite, and per my request, the journal opens and lies flat without my having to hold it open. The paper is absolutely perfect for use with fountain pens (even juicy ones). It is clear that Niccolò spends a lot of time and effort putting the finest works together. I treasure every volume I've purchased from him and consider him a friend.
