I bound The Chronicles of Narnia in red leather with 18th Century style "Dentelle à l'oiseau".
The Book is "encrusted" in pure gold 24 carats (not gold foil).
I used the traditional technique with glare and gold, I also gilded the inner margin and the edges of the board with the same technique.
The structure: The Book is sewn on five cords with headbands, rounded and backed, the joints are in leather.
I marbled the three edges of the book and the end papers. In the end I've done a bit of aging to the book.

<Shipping> All of my items are shipped via FedEx which provides a tracking number through all its journey. The shipping company requests the phone number of the recipient as a duty for international shipping.
The book is worth every penny like any of Nicolo's work. The attention to detail, craftsmanship and design all come together to make this something to enjoy and pass down through my family!
