Orphic egg journal—large size—personalized journal

I bound this 1700s-style journal, “A Seminato,” in hand-dyed Italian leather. The symbols engraved on the center plates depict the Orphic egg, a snake wrapped around an egg, signifying the source of the universe and creation. I believe that the act of writing makes us the demiurge of our own lives. Through it, we create our own reality.

I bound this journal in quality leather and used 95 gr light cream-colored blank paper, which is excellent not only for fountain pens, as it does not bleed through, but also for for graphite and sketching. The pages are hand-sewn. I applied 24K gold leaf decoration. The edges are marbled, and the marbled endpapers are unique, as I personally made and selected the best one for this journal. the best pair for this journal.

Every step is done by hand, in accordance with tradition and with respect for the environment. Although the process is time-consuming, each journal is bound with love and care, making every piece unique.

Please note that this journal is not a Moleskine that bends back on itself. It has a solid structure, it is sewn on five cords and has a rounded, hammered spine. It opens smoothly and is comfortable to write in. It is built to last and will protect your words for years to come.
